About

Born in London's backstreets in 2021, KURO NEKO is more than a
label; it's a shadow movement. A small crew of misfits, drifting
between dark urban alleys and island shorelines, began cutting stencils
in a garage and screen-printing tees by hand.
What started as a form of self-expression soon evolved into a
language: bold graphics, recycled cotton, and references drawn from
music, film, and subcultures that resist the mainstream.
The name originates from a cult Japanese horror film. Still, the black
cat was already there, a symbol of independence, curiosity, and a life
lived on one's own terms. It embodies KURO NEKO's philosophy:
moving freely, unbothered by rules, and finding kinship in the shadows.
"It's not about following trends. It's about making clothes for people who
won't be told how to move" say the founders. KURO NEKO doesn't chase visibility; it cultivates mystery. Like the black
cat itself, it belongs to those who cross between worlds.
Because in the end,

ALL CATS ARE BLACK AT NIGHT.
